A group of enthusiasts. We are happy to welcome all, providing you like people and have no pretensions of grandeur. We are a really happy family group, mixed ages, mixed abilities with love of theatre. We donate our profits to charity and usually manage to donate £1000 per year.
The first week of December sees our annual Pantomime take place at United Reformed Church Hall, Spa Rd. Weymouth. We have been performing Pantomimes since 1973 - 35 yrs and some of us are still there!!
Our Summer Show is always the first week in July and takes the form of 1 or 2 plays which vary tremendously in style, and music and dance, often enhanced by performers from Julie Storey’s dance group.
Meetings commence in September for the Pantomime at URC Hall Spa Road every Thursday at 7.30pm. Do beware of the 3rd Thursday of the month. We are ousted by florists and go to members homes instead.
Play readings commence, at members homes, in late January. We also do a little sketch for the Ceilidh in March. Casting and rehearsing for the summer show begin in earnest after Easter.
